Field Grown

Trees are grown on 35 acres of peaty fen soil, ranging in size from feathered to semi-mature. These can be supplied Bare Root or Root Balled and are lifted to order. The peat soil ensures a fibrous root system and enables trees to be lifted cleanly and easily.

Common shrubs for example Berberis, Cornus & Roses, hedging material such as Buxus or Laurel and common transplant material can all be supplied Bare Root in season. We have a specially prepared peat heeling-in area for bare root material, and all plants are bagged prior to despatch.
